The controversy has deepened over the order issued by the Yogi government regarding Muharram processions in Uttar Pradesh. Samajwadi Party MP Ziaur Rahman Burke has made serious allegations against the government. He has said that a statement has been given to the tajiyadars to forcibly remove the nana tajiyas. He said this at the behest of the Yogi government of UP, which has issued guidelines for the peaceful organization of Muharram processions.

The Yogi government has banned cutting of wires and trees for Moharram processions. The SP MPs are angry with the Burke government. MP Burke said that because of this, the BJP fell from 62 to 33 seats in Uttar Pradesh. Due to which BJP lost not only Ayodhya but also Badrinath and in coming days it will lose in UP too. The SP MP claimed that the Samajwadi Party government will be formed in the coming elections and Muslims will not face any problem thereafter.

‘Government has not given time to go to court’

Samajwadi Party MP from Sambhal Lok Sabha seat Ziaur Rehman Burke told a press conference that earlier Tajiyas were made from 25 to 55 feet and this tradition has been going on for hundreds of years. Burke said Muslims are not starting a new tradition. Obstacles are being created deliberately by the government. He said that the government did not even give him enough time to go to the court and present his opinion in the court.

‘This order is rigid, will raise the issue in Parliament’

SP MP Ziaur Rahman Burke took direct aim at CM Yogi Adityanath regarding the state government order and termed his order as rigid. Burke said that Samajwadi Party government will be formed in UP in coming days and all religions will be respected in SP government. MP Burke has said that regarding this order, he has written to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Secretary of the state and the DGP, demanding a reconsideration of the order. Not only this, he has also talked about raising this issue in Parliament.

CM Yogi made this statement

Remember, the roads used to be deserted during Muharram. It is also not known whether Muharram has been planned today. In the name of Tajia, houses were demolished, pipe trees were cut down, road wires were removed.
