Preparations for the last Monday of Savan

This year the last day of Sawan is coming on Monday. In such a situation, special arrangements are being made so that the Kanwariyas do not have to face any trouble in Kashi, the city of Mahadev. In this order, the traffic department has issued a 60-hour no vehicle zone plan in several areas of the city. Apart from this, Sri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Administration has taken a big decision. The temple administration said that touching and accessible darshan have been banned from Saturday to Monday.

This decision has been taken keeping in mind the increasing number of devotees. Sri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Administration has issued an advisory for three days and imposed this ban. The arrangement will come into force from 8 pm on Saturday and will remain in force for 60 hours. No vehicle shall ply on these roads during this period. In which a no vehicle zone has also been declared from Chandpur Charrasta to Mohansarai. A time has been fixed for this.

The temple administration has issued an advisory

An advisory issued by the administration said that on August 17, 2024, a large number of pilgrims are likely to visit Sri Kashi Vishwanath Dham due to Pradosh, weekend and the end of Shravan. Therefore, it has been duly decided by the Sri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust and the Temple Security Police that to ensure the safety of the devotees, Shravan will be in effect on August 17 as well as on Monday. In which Sparsh Darshan will be closed and tickets will not be issued for Sugam Darshan, hence the devotees are requested that the Darshan may take more time than usual. Only general tableau darshan will be possible. Keep these facts in mind and schedule your visit.

Where will be the no vehicle zone?

In addition, there will be a no vehicle zone for the first 60 hours of every Monday on the National Highway from Chandpur Intersection to Mohansarai. This rule will be applicable from 8 pm on Saturday to 8 am on Tuesday. Maidagin-Godaulia road will also remain a no vehicle zone during this period. These routes of the city will have to be operated as per 60 hours diversion plan. Apart from this, there will be no vehicle zone for 60 hours on many roads of the city. These include Bania to Murga Gali Mode to Langra Hafiz Masjid to Ramapura Godaulia, Gurubagh Tiraha to Laksa Ramapura to Godaulia, Piari Chowki to Bania Tiraha, Broadway Tiraha to Sonarpura to Madanpura to Godaulia and Suzabad to Bhaduchungi via Mashugagan. The road will be a no vehicle zone.
