The major market indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, hit new record highs as soon as trading began. The two major indices started trading with impressive gains at 9:15 am. Where Sensex opened with a jump of about 320 points and Nifty opened with a jump of about 95 points. At 9:40 am, the Sensex is trading above 82,381 points with a rise of about 250 points, while the Nifty50 index is trading above 25,2226 points with a rise of about 75 points. With this surge in the market, Rs 1.75 lakh crore were rained on investors as soon as the market opened.
