An 8 feet long python was found inside a bed box in Khargaon, Madhya Pradesh. The family was shocked to see the python. He came out of the house shouting. He immediately informed the wildlife rescue team. The rescue team reached the spot. With great care he took out the python from the bed box. Then left him in the forest.
The incident took place in Karia Mal village of Barwah block of Khargone district. Deepak Verma’s house was shocked when he saw a python in the bed box. When the family members opened the lid of the box, they found a python sitting on the cloth. After this, the panicked members of the household informed the Society for Animal and Welfare, two members of which reached the spot and rescued the python.

The head of this organization, Tony Sharma, said that Deepak Verma, who lives in Karia Mal, called him and informed that there was a python in his house. On reaching here, he said that an 8 feet long python was sitting wrapped in the bed box of the house. Deepak said – As soon as we opened the bed box, we saw something moving in it. As soon as we picked up the quilt, we saw an 8 feet long python in it. We all got scared and called the rescue team.
Released the python into the forest
When the rescue team reached Deepak’s house, a large crowd had gathered there. All these people were present in the same house for a long time to save the python. After this, Animal Welfare members Ajay Kaushal and Atharv Sharma rescued the python from the bed box and informed the forest department. After this the python was released in the forest area.
It is suspected that this python may have come into the house from the forest. When the bed box was open, he must have gone and sat in it. Even before this, incidents of snakes and pythons have come to light in the vicinity of this house.
