A shocking incident has come to light in Hapud, Uttar Pradesh. Here, the priest molested the girl in the Ramlila Maidan temple. On getting the information, the girl’s family first beat up the priest and handed him over to the police. The police have registered a case against the accused priest under sections of extortion under the POCSO Act. After necessary interrogation, the police produced the accused before the court, from where he has been sent to jail for 14 days judicial custody. The incident took place on Monday evening.
According to local people, the victim girl was playing with other children outside the temple on Monday evening. Meanwhile, the priest saw her and called her to the temple on the pretext of giving her prasad and molested her. After being freed from the clutches of the accused, the victim girl reached home and informed her mother about the entire incident. After this, the girl’s family members and bystanders immediately reached the spot, grabbed the priest and beat him badly.
There was molestation on the day of Janmashtami too.
Meanwhile, someone present at the place made a video of it and posted it on social media. This video is becoming very viral now. The girl said during police interrogation that the accused priest had not done such an act for the first time. Earlier also on the day of Janmashtami, the accused caught her and performed lewd acts with her. At that time, the girl did not inform her family about the incident.

At that time, after receiving no response from the family, the morale of the accused increased and he repeated the same act again on Monday. After this, the family members of the victim threw her on the ground and beat her with sticks. According to Hapur police, the accused has been arrested. A case has been registered against the accused under suspicious sections and he has been sent to jail.
