Swara wrote in the post, “I finally got a chance to read the Hema committee report. First of all, I would like to thank the Women in Cinema Collective (WCC) who continue to speak out against violence and exploitation of women.

Swara shared her experience

Swara further wrote in her post that the report of the committee is heart touching. Sharing his experience in the post, he wrote, “I have seen it all very closely. This is why reading the report broke my heart. Although the details of the events in my case may be different, the details may be different, but I am well aware of all this.” After reading the report, Swara praised the women of the Malayalam film industry who raised their voice against abusers.

Swara has demanded the formation of a special committee to investigate the circumstances of the women who testified in the report. They are also asked to suggest solutions.
