In Madhya Pradesh’s Rajgarh, Sarangpur district SDM Sanjay Upadhyay and municipality CMO LS Dodia had a dispute at the municipal office. There was an altercation between the two officers outside the office. CMO SL Dondia publicly accused the SDM of demanding Rs 25 lakh. Regarding this matter, all the employees including the CMO of the municipality locked the office and reached the police station raising slogans against the SDM. Shouting slogans, all the employees of the municipality demanded to file a complaint against the SDM.
According to the information received, SDM Sanjay Upadhyay reached the municipal office to check some files, where earlier a closed room conversation was held between SDM Sanjay Upadhyay and Chief Municipal Officer SL Dondia. After a while commotion and beating sounds started coming from the room. Hearing the sound of the fight, the employees of the municipal office had gathered. First the SDM came out of the closed room and then the CMO SL Dondia came out of the municipal office.
CMO accused of accepting bribe
The CMO openly accused the SDM of harassing him and demanding Rs 25 lakh. SDM Sanjay Upadhyay went to his office in a car and the employees of the municipality including the CMO took out a rally and reached the police station and demanded a report against the SDM.

The municipal employees reached the station in-charge to report against the SDM. According to the SDM, he has received a list of 197 Prime Minister’s residences from the Divisional Commissioner Bhopal. There are more than fifty beneficiaries in Ward 4 and Ward 10, for whom three houses each have been sanctioned on the same ID. He went to the municipal office today to investigate. Presently the SDM will also file a complaint against the CMO for being involved in government work.
Will retire after two days
Municipal CMO SL Dondia told police station in-charge Akansha Hada that she was being harassed by the SDM for the past six months. Two-three cases of the municipality are in the SDM court, for the resolution of which the SDM was demanding 25 lakhs. The SDM was to retire after two days, so he was asking for money. Now the police will investigate and take action in this matter. Municipal employees have gathered regarding this incident.
