Sales will come first, then shoes and sneakers will become more expensive.

New norms for shoes and slippers will be implemented in the country from August 1, 2024. The new norms have been prepared by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). Change credit card charges

HDFC Bank, the country’s largest private bank, has also announced changes in many rules from August 1. These rules are related to credit cards. From now on, if you pay house rent using bank credit card on third-party fintech or payment apps like Cred, Paytm, MobiKwik and Freecharge etc., the bank will charge you a 1% surcharge.

Now, if you spend more than Rs 15,000 on fuel through HDFC Bank credit card, you will still have to pay 1%. Payments less than that amount will not be charged. A limit of Rs 3,000 per transaction has been set for both fare and fuel payment.
