Major action has been taken against people involved in anti-national activities in Jammu and Kashmir. The government has dismissed four employees involved in anti-national activities. He is accused of having links with terrorist organizations. Out of which two are Constables, two are employees of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department and one is Junior Assistant in School Education Department.
All these were working for Pakistan’s ISI and terrorist organizations. Intelligence agencies had collected several incriminating evidences against him. He is also accused of establishing links with cross-border drug smugglers in Pakistan and running a drug cartel in the north Kashmir belt. He had direct links with leaders of narco-terrorist syndicates operating across the border. He worked as a village level worker in Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department.
Accused of running a drug cartel
He ran a drug cartel in the north Kashmir belt and was in constant touch with people of Jammu and Kashmir origin. who entered Pakistan for terrorist training in 1990 and are now settled in PoK. The government has adopted a policy of zero tolerance towards anti-national elements. All these were taking advantage of being in government jobs.
Two police constables were among the sacked employees
Many say Sinha, operating with a zero-tolerance policy against terrorism, has so far terminated the services of more than 50 such personnel. All these people were accused of working for terrorist organizations and Pakistan’s ISI. These four dismissed personnel include 2 JK police constables Abdul Rehman Dar and Ghulam Rasool Bhat. Jal Shakti Assistant Lineman Anayatullah Shah Pirzada and school teacher Shabir Ahmed Wani are also included.
