In Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain, the second ride of Baba Mahakal will be taken out today with much fanfare in the city. Before the ride’s city tour, Baba Mahakal will be worshiped in the Assembly Hall and minister Prahlad Patel will participate in the worship. After this lakhs of devotees will see Chandramoleshwar in a palanquin and Lord Manmahesh on an elephant.
Although all the preparations have been made for the ride leaving today, but due to the high water level in Maa Shipra, a big problem has arisen that when will Baba Mahakal’s ride reach Shipra today at Ramghat, like every time, this time also sitting on Samay Ghat and worshiping God. It will not be possible. As the water level of Shipra rises, the Lord’s palanquin will be worshiped at other places instead of the ghat.
Regarding this, Collector of Ujjain Neeraj Kumar Singh said that the second ride of Baba Mahakal will be taken out today in the month of Shravan, but due to the high water level on the day of Mahashivratri, the problem is that the traditional puja-archana ghat of Baba Mahakal will be done at another place today. He said that the water level of Mata Shipra is continuously increasing. So, we don’t want to take any risk that lakhs of devotees gather around Ramghat and an untoward incident happens, given the rising water level. If the water level of Shipra does not come down in time, there may be worship of Baba Mahakal ride near Ramanuja Kot.
Estimated arrival of more than 5 lakh devotees
The second ride of Baba Mahakal will begin today with great fanfare in the city. The glory of this ride continues to grow but as per the intention of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, a band of 350 policemen along with folk dancers. But will be included in this ride. Lakhs of devotees had darshan of Baba Mahakal in the last ride, but today it is estimated that around four to five lakh devotees have darshan of Baba Mahakal.
Manmahesh will ride the elephant Chandramoleshwar in a silver palanquin
Before the procession of Lord Sri Mahakaleshwar, Lord Sri Chandramoleshwar will be duly worshiped in the assembly hall of Sri Mahakaleshwar temple. After that Lord Shri Chandramoleshwar will go on a pilgrimage to the city sitting in a silver palanquin. At the main gate of the temple, armed police personnel will salute the deity seated in a palanquin. Then the ride will reach Ramghat via the traditional route Mahakal Square, Gudri Square, Bakshi Bazar and Kaharwadi. After this, the ride will again reach Sri Mahakaleshwar Mandir via Ramanujakot, Modh Ki Dharamsala, Kartik Chowk Khati Mandir, Satyanarayana Mandir, Dhaba Road, Tank Chowk, Chhatri Chowk, Gopal Mandir, Patni Bazar and Gudri Bazar.
In which the tribal artists of Chhindwara will be included
As per the wish of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, a group of tribal artistes will also participate in the ride of Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar Ji by the Madhya Pradesh Culture Council. On the second Monday, Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar G. On July 29 Bharia tribal Bhadam dance led by Maujilal Pachalia of Chhindwara and Baiga tribal Karma dance led by Dhaniram Bagdaria of Dindori will perform in front of the palanquin in the second procession of Lord Mahakaleshwar.
