Two students from Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur have created a ring that girls can use to teach miscreants a lesson. The name of this ring is Nirbhay Ring Gun. The names of the students who made it are Ankita Rai and Anshika Tiwari. Both the girls are pursuing BCA at Institute Technology and Management (ITM GIDA Gorakhpur).
Ankita and Anshika are currently BCA second year students. He, along with the team of the college’s innovation cell, has developed such a ‘ring gun’, which will teach miscreants a lesson. Ankita said that this ring will help girls in trouble. There are many girls who work away from home. If one has to go somewhere alone, in such a situation some anti-social element tries to molest a girl, our fearless ring gun will help them like a friend.
What is the function of fearless ring gun?
With the help of Fearless Ring Gun, girls will be able to instantly call their family members and send their location. Girls can also use this ring as a pistol if needed. Don’t be surprised, this ring gun won’t shoot real bullets. Instead there will be a loud sound like a bullet. Anshika Tiwari said that this ring has two buttons. As soon as the first button is pressed, the Bluetooth of the ring connects to the mobile and the location is immediately sent to the numbers of family and friends. Then at the same time the call of the family also goes out.
When you press the button there is a sound like a gunshot
Ankita said that the biggest feature of the Nirbhay ring is that in times of trouble, this ring also takes the form of a weapon to protect itself from miscreants. It can be folded and converted into a gun. The ring is also fitted with a red button, which is the trigger of the fearless ring gun. As soon as you press it, it sounds like a gun shot.
The Nirbhay Ring Gun has a 10 mm metal barrel, which allows for blank firing. Anshika said that the weight of this ring is around 50 to 60 grams. It can be charged with any mobile charger. This ring is divided into two parts. To transform this fearless ring into a gun, two parts must be joined.
How much did it cost to make?
Director of the institute, Dr. NK Singh, applauded the invention of the students and said that with the help of Nirbhay Ring, women will be able to protect themselves in times of trouble. The students said that it took us 2 weeks to make the ring and it cost Rs 1500. To make it we used 10 mm metal pipe, bluetooth module, 3.7 volt nano battery, switch, metal ring.
