According to the Amritsar Police, information about prostitution was received in a hotel near the bus stand on Tuesday. Based on this information, the police raided the hotel. As soon as the police reached the gate of the hotel, they found that two foreign women working in the hotel had tried to escape by jumping from the roof. Both were seriously injured in the attempt. After this, the police immediately went to the back of the hotel and detained both the girls and admitted them to the government hospital for treatment.
