The boy planned his own kidnapping
The son of a head constable in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad had hatched a plot to kidnap himself. The son of the head constable of 41 Corps PAC in the Commissionerate hatched a false plot to kidnap himself while he was returning home after appearing for the UP police exam. On his way back he tied his hands and feet and stuffed his mouth with cloth. The constable’s son took a photo and sent it to his family members demanding ransom.
A boy named Rohit had gone to the Bijnor exam center to appear in the UP Police Constable written exam on Sunday. After which he did not return home. Rohit’s father is posted as Head Constable in 41st Corps of PSC in Kaushambi area of Ghaziabad. After the exam, Rohit’s sister received a photo on WhatsApp from Rohit’s mobile in which her brother Rohit’s hands and feet were tied and a cloth was stuffed in his mouth. After seeing the photo, his sister called the family and told them that Rohit had been kidnapped. The kidnappers demanded a ransom of ₹1,00,000 for his release.
The police traced the location
As soon as the family got the information about Rohit’s abduction, they informed the Kaushambi police station. As soon as the information was received, the police started investigating the case. During the investigation, when the police traced the location of Rohit’s mobile, it was found that the photo which was sent to his sister on WhatsApp was sent from Modinagar area of Ghaziabad.
Rohit was changing location
The location of Rohit’s mobile was constantly changing. The police found the location of his mobile first in Badaun and then in Lucknow. Realizing the seriousness of the matter, the police sent a police team to Lucknow. Police have traced Rohit safely from Lucknow. After recovery, when the police interrogated Rohit, Rohit narrated the entire story of his kidnapping drama to the police. He himself confessed to the police that he was not abducted, he was the one who hatched the false kidnapping plot. Rohit wanted to increase his cryptocurrency score.
