Police have arrested the fifth accused in the Jitan Saha murder case.
Darbhanga Police has recovered the knife with which Vikashil Insaan Party father Jitan Sahni i.e. VIP Party Chief Mukesh Sahni was killed. Along with this, the fifth accused involved in this murder case has also been arrested. Five accused have been arrested so far in the Jitan Sah murder case. Let us tell you that Jitan Sahni, father of VIP party chief Mukesh Sahni, was killed with a knife on the night of July 15. The killers were so enraged that they stabbed Jitan Sahni 23 times with a knife.
Darbhanga SSP Jagunath Reddy said on Wednesday that the four accused were interrogated separately after being remanded. After which all the four accused were interrogated together. On this he stated that he had taken the knife from the shop of Mohammad Manjoor, a resident of the same village. After the murder, the knife was washed and returned to Mohammad Manzoor under the tap. When Mohammad Manzoor came to know about the whole incident, he hid the knife in his house.
The FSL team took the knife for investigation
SSP Jagunath Reddy said that the police recovered the knife from Mohammad Manjoor’s house after conducting a raid. He was also arrested. However, Mohammad Manzoor was not involved in the murder. His only fault was that he gave the knife and hid it in the house as soon as he got information about the incident, rather he should have informed the police. The knife used in the murder is being sent to the FSL team for investigation.

The police remanded Mohammad Kazim, Mohammad Sitare, Mohammad Chhote Laheri and Mohammad Azad in the Jitan Saha murder case and interrogated them. All the accused have been sent to judicial custody on Wednesday. Here, the family members of the accused say that Jitan Sahni was doing liquor business, so why the police of Ghanshyampur police station and village watchman did not get the information.
