‘Tumbad’ Craze, 6 And A Half Thousand Tickets Sold In Advance, Know When The Re-release Will Be


The trend of re-releasing films has started in Bollywood. Recently many Bollywood movies have been re-released. In such a situation, the name of Soham Shah’s horror film ‘Tumbaad’ has also been added to this list. Soham Shah’s horror film is hitting theaters on September 13, 2024. According to Wednesday evening figures, nearly six and a half thousand tickets for the film have been sold on Book My Show in the last 24 hours. In such a situation, the film is likely to do well in its re-release.

‘Tumbaad’ has got cult film status. The film was first released on 12 October 2018. ‘Tumbaad’ was written by Rahi Anil Barve along with Mitesh Shah, Adesh Prasad and Anand Gandhi. The film stars Soham Shah, Harish Khanna, Jyoti Malshe, Rudra Soni and Madhav Hari Joshi in lead roles. However, the film did not do much at the box office at the time and grossed 13.6 crores.

The film took seven years to make

The makers of ‘Tumbaad’ took not just 1 or 2 years but seven years to make it. Rain is shown in most of the scenes of the film. That too real rain. Its story begins in 1918 in the village of ‘Tumbad’ in Maharashtra, where Vinayak Rao (Soham Shah) lives with his mother and brother. It is said that there is a temple in the village, where the treasure is hidden. As soon as Vinayak and his mother hear about the treasure, they start searching. However, due to some problems, Vinayak’s mother takes him to Pune. Vinayak goes to ‘Tumbad’ again after 15 years and starts searching for the treasure. In such a case, you have to go to the theaters on September 13 to see what happens in the film.

People are liking horror movies

People are liking horror movies a lot. The recently released Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao starrer Stree 2 created a buzz at the box office. The film has achieved the status of the highest grossing film of the year. In such a situation ‘Tumbaad’ is expected to be a hit at the box office.

Before ‘Tumbaad’, other films were also re-released in theatres. The list also includes Gangs of Wasseypur, Rehna Hai Tere Dil Main, Kantara, Hum Aapke Hai Kaun, Maine Pyar Kiya, Saripodha Sanivaram and Dhar.
