Hema Malini would have been my mother – said Twinkle Khanna
Actress Twinkle Khanna, the lovely daughter of Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia and wife of Akshay Kumar, has been away from the world of films for a long time. Recently, in a newspaper column, Twinkle revealed that she would rather have Hema Malini as her mother than Dimple Kapadia.

The actress revealed how the sound of water dripping from her purifier reminds her of ‘Dream Girl’ Hema Malini. He said that no one is more concerned about providing clean water in India than Hema Malini.

Twinkle Khanna wrote in her article, “After years of selling water purifiers. Now she is planning a play to convey the message of keeping our rivers clean, it will make the people of the country aware and help keep the rivers clean, but will the people of the country listen to her appeal? If we can’t stop people from ‘spitting leaves on street corners and killing people over religious differences’ then it doesn’t matter how much money is spent on building roads.
Mother disconnected the call
Actress Twinkle compared her mother Dimple Kapadia to Hema Malini and said, “When I call my mother to complain about dirty water, air, pollution and roads, she says the noise is the same as the Ganpati Visharan. Sounds louder than what you’re doing right now on a call. Saying this my mother disconnected the call. Twinkle laughed and said that mother is not interested in me, that’s why sometimes I wish Hema Malini was my mother.

Twinkle Khanna further wrote, “Nobody in India is more interested in providing clean water than Hemaji.” Twinkle said about her mother Dimple Kapadia that she does not like pets. Apart from this, they have no problem with the way people litter the roads and throw betel nuts on the roadside.
