Udaipur: The Situation Of Fear In The Village Due To Drinking Dirty Water, 35 People’s Health Deteriorated… 3 Died

Three people have died after drinking contaminated water

In Rajasthan’s Udaipur, two children and an elderly person died after drinking contaminated water. After the death of children, there is anarchy in the medical department as well as in the rural areas. The team that reached the spot gave medicines to the sick and some people were also admitted to the hospital. The incident came to light from Khandera Kala and Runia Phala of Populti village in Girwa tehsil, 20 km from Udaipur headquarters.

Udaipur CMHO Dr. According to Shankar Bamania, three people, including a 7-year-old girl Tusha and a 3-year-old boy who had come to visit a relative from Khajuri village, have died due to the contaminated water. Zadol, has passed away. A 67-year-old man also died. Also, drinking this water has made more than 35 people ill, some of whom have been given medication for vomiting and diarrhea and those who are serious have been hospitalized.

A complaint was received from a nursing worker

CMHO Dr. Bamania said that a nursing worker visited that village and during the visit there were more complaints of vomiting and diarrhea. After this he informed the officials of the medical department. During this time it came to light that an elderly man along with two children had also died in the same case. Amidst the chaos, medical department teams administered anti-emetic and anti-diarrhoea drugs to 30 to 35 people who fell ill and some critically ill people were admitted to Maharana Bhupal Hospital for treatment.

The villagers were drinking water from the open space

CMHO Bamania said that investigation revealed that people have been drinking water from an open space in the middle of the village for many years. Due to the recent rains, fresh water also accumulated there and due to this the villagers fell ill after drinking the same water. Due to which an old man and two children also died. A child came with his mother from Zadol Khajuri to a relative’s house in that village. But here he also died by drinking contaminated water.
