Ujjain: Left Home During Lockdown, Now Body Found At Railway Station; Elderly Person Identified Through Aadhaar Card


The elderly had left the house during the lockdown

GRP Police Station in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh has found the dead body of an old man from Ujjain Railway Station this morning. When the body was found, the police found that the man appeared to be Saint because of his attire, but when an attempt was made to identify him by extracting the Aadhaar card from his luggage, it was discovered that he was Saint. But due to the lockdown imposed during Corona, he left his home. Although the family members were also searching for the old man, but before the family members could find him, his body was found at the railway station.

The GRP police station received information that a dead body of a 63-year-old man was found on platform number 1 of the railway station. Police immediately reached the spot and started efforts to identify the deceased. When the police searched the belongings of the deceased, an Aadhaar card was found in the pocket of the deceased in which his name was written as Bhati Barodia Ratlam, resident of Manklal Khariwal. When the police started investigation based on the address given in the Aadhaar card, the deceased was identified. The police immediately called his son Govind Khariwal to the railway station to identify the deceased. The son recognized his father. After identifying the deceased, the police took the body to the district hospital where a postmortem was conducted and the body was handed over to the family members.

Elderly people went out of the house during the lockdown

His son Govind, who came to identify the deceased, said that although his father always went out for some time, but this time when he left home after the lockdown during Corona, he never came back. Govind told the police that his father worshiped God, that’s why he started living like a saint. Govind also told the police that we hoped to find our father soon smiling and laughing like before, but his dead body was found today.

The crying condition of the family members is bad

As Manklal Khariwal’s body was taken to Ujjain District Hospital for post-mortem, his family members and those who met him also reached the post-mortem room. The situation was such that while the postmortem was being done inside, family members were crying outside the premises. The GRP police station has handed over the body of Mankalal to his family after the post-mortem. The family members cannot believe that if Manklal leaves home, they will get the information of his death like this.
