New details are being revealed every day in the murder case of Tarun Pawar, an interior designer from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Police have arrested three accused in this case, while six others are still absconding. Among the accused caught by the police is a woman who was the girlfriend of an interior designer.
During police interrogation, the accused said that after killing Tarun, they sat in the room with his dead body for 12 hours. After that a plan was made to cut his body into pieces and dispose of it. The main accused in the murder case is Pawan, who has confessed to the crime. Tarun’s girlfriend Anjali also had an affair with Pawan.
Pawan said during police interrogation
During interrogation, Pawan said that he would do anything for Anjali. The accused also told the police that he along with his friends cut the body of the youth into pieces, which were then thrown in the canal. Police are searching for body parts in the canal. The police also found a piece of the right leg of the body.
Ravindra Singh, the father of the interior designer, lodged a complaint about his son’s disappearance at the police station. He told the police that he lives in an apartment flat of Srishti Society in Rajnagar Extension. His son left home on August 16 for work, but did not return until late at night. The family feared that their son had been kidnapped.
The accused were seen on CCTV cameras
On the father’s complaint, the police took immediate action and on August 20, the police seized Tarun Pawar’s parked car from the parking lot of Yashoda Hospital Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad. After recovering the vehicle, the police started scanning the CCTV cameras of the parking lot of Yashoda Hospital, in which they spotted the two suspected accused. The police took both of them into custody and interrogated them. At first, both the accused refused to tell anything to the police, but during strict interrogation by the police, both broke down and narrated the entire incident from the abduction of the youth to the murder.
One of the accused told the police that the murder was done at the behest of Anjali and Pawan. Anjali’s brother-in-law Akshay, Manoj, Jeet, Ankur, Dipanshu and Ankit had committed this crime. Surprisingly, apart from Tarun and Pawan, Anjali was also talking to other people. The affair with brother-in-law Akshay is also coming to the fore.
The accused bought a SIM card and a mobile on a fake ID, after which Pawan called Tarun to talk about interior designing work. But Tarun refused to come that day and said he will come on 16th. Then as per plan he was called to the room. From there, as per the planning, all the accused took him to the house of Manoj who lives in Madhuban Bapudham.
As soon as Tarun reached his house, all the accused already present started beating him. After beating him, he was tied with a rope. Kept beating him for almost 2 hours. He was strangled to death after the beating rendered him unconscious. Police said accused Dipanshu hit Tarun on the head with a stick, after which he became unconscious.
Pawan and Anjali also stayed in the room
The room where the young man was killed. Pawan and Anjali also stayed in the same room. Everyone else had gone out. About 12 hours after killing Tarun, they took his body out of the house. Tarun’s body was placed on a bike and taken to a distance of 250 meters from the place of murder. His body was kept in the trunk of the car and taken to Bulandshahr. There, the body was cut into pieces and thrown into the canal. The police have said that a DNA test will be done on a part of the body found by the police.
