Police reached outside the religious place in Bareilly

Miscreants have once again vandalized a religious place in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. The miscreants have broken the idols in the temple and overturned the things kept in the temple. The incident took place at the Mandi Committee in Ijjatnagar Police Station area late on Saturday night, though people came to know about it on Sunday morning. After this, people reported the matter to the police. Workers of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal started coming as soon as the incident was reported.

On the other hand, the police have also deployed a large number of police personnel at the site to maintain peace in any case. According to the police, preparations are in full swing at the religious place for the month of Sawan, which begins on Monday. Late at night the temple priest and other people went to sleep after finishing their work. Meanwhile, some miscreants entered the religious place and started vandalism. On Sunday morning, when some devotees came to worship, they found all things scattered in the temple.

Detention of suspects

Idols of deities were also found broken. After this the devotees informed the surrounding people about this matter. Soon a huge crowd gathered outside the temple and people informed the police. As soon as the information was received, the police forces of several police stations, including the CO, reached the spot and pacified the angry people. Devotees said that thousands of people have faith in this temple. Religious programs are held here during the month of Sawan. Preparations for this were going on for a week in advance. Meanwhile, anarchist elements have tried to spoil the atmosphere. On the other hand, the police said that no one will be allowed to play with people’s trust.
