The entire case is of villages falling under the Harakh forest jurisdiction of Barabanki, where many villages in the area are in panic after wild animal attacks. Villagers cannot even go to their fields due to panic. In fact, Rizwana, a resident of Gochaura village, went to the field to graze goats on Tuesday. At the same time a wild animal attacked her, injuring Rizwana in several places. Villagers of several villages in the area are spending the night on vigil due to attacks by wild animals. Villagers are avoiding going to their fields even during the day due to fear. Children are not sent to school. The forest department has also laid down its arms. The villagers claim that there are wolves in their village. People allege that the forest department is forcing them to call wolves foxes.

Villagers said that the people in the villages where the animal passed or attacked are scared but mustering courage and searching for the animal day and night. Villagers say they have seen the animal but the department could not say which animal it is. Villagers say that we carry sticks. The villagers themselves have taken charge. He is also providing full support to the search teams. However, the panic is such that as evening approaches, adults and children are confined to their homes. While other members of the family sleep, the remaining members stay awake throughout the night with sticks in hand.
