UP: CM Yogi Prepares Team Of 30 Ministers For By-polls On 10 Seats, Gets This Responsibility

After the crushing defeat of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Uttar Pradesh in the Lok Sabha elections, the biggest challenge for the Yogi Adityanath government in the state is to win the next by-election. On Wednesday, CM Yogi Adityanath held an important meeting with ministers for the by-elections to be held on 10 assembly seats in UP. For the by-elections, the Chief Minister has formed an important team of 30 ministers and they have been assigned duty on these seats. Apart from this, a special strategy has also been made.

CM Yogi Adityanath held a nearly one and a half hour long meeting with a team of 30 ministers for the by-elections. A big news emerged from the meeting is that the ministers have been asked to form a panel of candidates. However, BJP has an organizational tradition of preparing a list of candidates. By-elections are to be held on 10 assembly seats in UP.

2 seats so far regarding by-elections

CM Yogi has held two meetings regarding by-election preparations. In today’s meeting, CM Yogi asked the in-charge ministers to prepare a panel of possible candidates according to the political and social equation. Later the name will be decided by talking to the organization.

In the Lok Sabha elections concluded last month, 9 assembly seats have become vacant due to the MLAs becoming MPs. In addition, a by-election is to be held on the Sismai assembly seat as this seat has become vacant after the disqualification of a Samajwadi candidate. Party MLA.

For the BJP, victory has become a question of prestige

The constituencies to be held in the state include Milkipur, Katehari, Phulpur, Ghaziabad Sadar, Manzwa, Mirapur, Kher and Kundarki constituencies. On behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party organization, many senior officials of the Yogi government and ministers of the organization have been put on duty for election preparations on all these seats.

After the Lok Sabha elections, winning the by-elections to the 10 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh has become a prestige issue for the BJP. The ministers included in this special team of CM Yogi have been instructed to stand firm in the areas to register victory at any cost.

On the other hand, ticket aspirants within the party have stepped up their efforts in view of the possibility of the bypoll dates being announced. The MP who won the Lok Sabha election from MLA is busy getting ticket to his own family member in the by-election. While many former MPs and MLAs are also said to be involved in this race.
