A heartbreaking incident has come to light from UP’s Mirzapur district. Here a husband killed his wife. Even after death, the cruelty of the accused husband did not stop. Here also when he was not satisfied, the accused husband tore off one of his wife’s hands and threw her in the drain. The body was covered with stones in a hillock pit and a missing complaint was lodged at the police station. The husband continued to mislead the police and the family.
The family members were searching for the woman, during which the drunken husband reached his in-laws and confessed to killing his wife in front of the parents. The woman’s family was stunned after hearing this from her husband. The parents informed the police about this. The police reached the spot and took possession of the body of the woman covered in the pit and sent it for post-mortem. When the husband was questioned, he confessed his crime.

The case is from Sindhora hill in Padri police station area of Mirzapur. Here on September 8, the body of a woman covered with stones was found in a pit. The husband told during interrogation that he was afraid that he was having illicit relations with his wife. Because of this apprehension, the drunken husband killed his wife on September 1 by beating her to death with an iron claw and a stick used for filling stones in the house. After this, he somehow took the body to a mountain about a kilometer away from the house and hid it in a stone-built pit. Even after the murder, the husband hated his wife so much that he tore off one of her hands and threw it in the drain. A police complaint was lodged on September 5 and his wife was reported missing.
The father-in-law went and confessed the crime
The husband kept misleading the police and the parents. On September 7, a woman’s hand was found severed in a drain near the Dagamagpur cow shelter in Padari police station area, after which the police launched a search for the woman. Meanwhile, on September 8, the police informed the police of the woman’s body covered with stones in a mountain pit, on the information of the parents, after the husband went to the in-laws’ house in Tigoda village and asked him to get his wife drunk. Now the husband has been arrested.
