A case of gang rape of a Dalit woman in a moving car has come to light in UP’s Gonda district. Two youths put the girl in a car and took her with them in the name of getting a mobile phone. The youth molested the girl in a moving vehicle and then raped her. The car went ahead and hit a pillar, after which the girl escaped from the clutches of both and reached home with difficulty. Both the youths also ran away. Police have registered a case and arrested the accused.
Police said a minor girl had gone to her maternal uncle’s house with her parents to attend a function. Two boys named Rizwan and Arif, residents of Balrampur and Gonda districts of Forbisganj area reached there. He made the minor girl sit in the car in the name of taking the mobile phone. Both young men took the girl in the car and went to the city. After this he raped the girl in a moving car.
The car hit a pillar
When the two accused moved from Munnan Khan Charrasta, a posh area of the city, to Maharajganj, they raped the girl there. Meanwhile, the girl inside the car shouted for help, but no one could hear her voice as the glass was closed. After this, the accused’s car collided with an electric pole in Maharajganj near the police post. After the car accident, both the accused fled from the spot.
The accused was sent to jail
The girl also ran away from the place to save her life and reached home. He told everything to his mother. After which his mother has filed a case against the two youths with the police on the charge of gang rape. Police registered a case and sent a team to arrest the accused. Currently, both the gang-rape accused are in police custody and have been sent to jail. Strict legal action is being taken against them. Medical examination of the victim has also been done.
