The family members of the deceased created an uproar in the CHC.
A youth who returned from police custody died under suspicious circumstances in Barabanki district. Due to a domestic dispute, the police had arrested the youth three days ago. The family alleged that the police took the youth to the police post and first beat him and then applied electric current to the soles of his feet, causing his condition to deteriorate. Seeing his condition deteriorating, the youth was admitted to the CHC, where he died during treatment. The family created an uproar in the CHC itself.
The entire case of the youth’s death belongs to Bastali of Faiyajpura Mohalla in Fatehpur Police Station area. Here on August 11, Kashiram’s two sons Ravi and Amar Singh alias Nitant had a domestic dispute, after which Ravi lodged a police complaint against his younger brother Amar Singh. The police reached the spot and took Amar Singh with them to the police station. When Amar reached home late at night after being caught by the police, he was completely bewildered.
The police gave electric shock inside the youth post
The youth told his family that the police first beat him at the police station and then gave him an electric shock on his bottom. After the youth’s death, the family members alleged that the police had electrocuted their son. When we took Amar to the hospital for treatment, the doctors there declared him brought dead. After the youth’s death, the family raised an uproar against the police in the CHC.

As soon as the information about the incident was received, senior police officials reached the spot, after which they consoled the family and sent the body for post-mortem. Giving information about the incident, CO Dr. Binu Singh said that the police have taken Amar Singh for questioning. A case has also been registered against him in the GRP police station. Amar was addicted to alcohol. Also, on the allegations of the family, the CO said that all the allegations are baseless.
