A strange case of theft has come to light in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Here two miscreants used to steal women’s chains and run away. He used to commit these crimes on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Surprisingly, both the criminals used to give the stolen gold chain to their third accomplice on a reward of one thousand rupees. The third culprit used to grab the chain from his wife to gift it to her.

Jaipur’s Sanganer police have arrested two chain snatchers. The main mastermind of the gang is absconding. Police are looking for him. The arrested accused have made shocking revelations. Both the miscreants used to carry out incidents of chain snatching from different bikes to avoid the police. The bike was given to him by the main kingpin. Police have seized four gold chains from the accused.

A reward of one thousand rupees was given for chain snatching

Due to increasing incidents of chain snatching from women in Jaipur’s Sanganer area, the police have launched a drive. Meanwhile, the Sanganer police arrested Tonk residents Deepak Chaudhary and Rajendra Chaudhary in the chain snatching case. According to the police, during interrogation, both the accused said that they were in the business of chain snatching for Dhara Singh. On his request, they rob women’s gold chains. In return, Dhara Singh gives him a reward of 1000 rupees.

They used to rob on Tuesday-Saturday

The accused told the police that on Tuesdays and Saturdays, women adorn themselves and go to the temple. Hence he used to carry out the incidents of chain snatching on these two days. He stated that he used to commit crimes using bikes and the bikes were different in each incident. He was doing this for lack of recognition. Dhara Singh used to give them these bikes. He used to borrow this bike from acquaintances.

He used to rob to give gifts to his wife

Accused Deepak and Rajendra said that earlier they used to steal mobile phones. One day he met Dhar Singh at a liquor shop. Both of them are residents of Tonk and Dhara Singh is also a resident there. Hence the three became friends. Dhara Singh advised him to snatch the chain instead of the mobile and offered him a reward of Rs 1000 for the stolen chain in return. Both people started working for Dhara Singh. The accused said that Dhara Singh used to gift loot chains to his wife. Police have recovered four gold chains from his possession.
