Vande slaps old passenger waiter in India.
Are you a vegetarian? If yes, sometimes you accidentally get carnivorous food and eat it unknowingly. How far can you go when you find out that it was not a vegetarian food but a non-vegetarian food? Something similar has happened in India too with premium trains. Last week, an elderly passenger slapped a waiter for serving non-veg on the Howrah to Ranchi Vande Bharat train, a video of which is now going viral on social media.
The entire incident took place on 26th July. The video of the incident was shared on his ‘X’ page by co-passenger Kunal Verma, who was traveling in the Vande Bharat train that day, and narrated the entire incident. Kunal Verma wrote, “An elderly passenger on a Vande Bharat train ordered a vegetarian meal, but was served non-veg food by the waiter. The elderly passenger did not look at the label of the food packet and opened it and ate a portion.”

Kunal Verma further wrote, “After a while when the elderly passenger realized that he had eaten non-veg food instead of veg, his anger reached the seventh sky. He created a ruckus in the train and demanded to call the catering department of the train. After a while the people from the catering department and the waiters who served the food came along with the police staff. Seeing the waiter, the old passenger threw his hands at him and started shouting.
However, when the elderly passenger slapped the waiter, some other passengers present in the train became angry. One of the passengers started shouting at the old man and said where in the packet you opened and ate did it say non-vegetarian? Meanwhile, the passenger told the old man that he had to apologize to the waiter. In the video, the co-passenger can also be seen asking the elderly passenger to apologize to the waiter.

A policeman is also seen in the video, who was trying to pacify the matter. Different reactions of people are coming out on the viral video. While some people are writing about the passenger’s mistake on social media and apologizing to the waiter, some are talking about compensation and calling it the fault of the railway administration. Commenting on the viral video, one user wrote that it’s good to see people standing up for the right things.
