Four people have died after drinking well water in a village of Prayagraj. More than 25 people have fallen ill and are undergoing treatment in various hospitals. There is no hand pump for drinking water in the village, the only option is a well. Villagers are forced to drink poisoned water due to the negligence of the village chief. Then the great negligence of the health department has also come to light.
The poisonous well water became a problem for the entire village. Four people lost their lives one after the other after drinking it. The dead included two children and two elderly women. More than two dozen villagers are falling ill after drinking contaminated water. After the incident, there was an uproar in the district administration. The health department team immediately reached the village. Samples of well water have been taken and sent for testing. The health of the villagers is being checked.

The case is of Bhadwa village of Handia taluk of the district. After the death of four people in the village, there is anger among the villagers. He has accused the village head and the health department of negligence. However, the major responsibility lies with the health department. According to the villagers, not a single hand pump has been installed in the village for drinking water. There is a well from which people draw water and drink. Two-and-a-half-year-old Sanjana and 12-year-old Diwakar developed fever after drinking this water two days ago. He was taken to hospital where he died.

After the death of two children, 55-year-old Chandri Devi and 72-year-old Sundari also died. Two dozen villagers including Rajan Prajapati, Satyam, Divyanshu, Sundaram, Chhabbu, Shiv Prasad, Ayan, Anand, Prakash, Sabbu, Urmila are sick after drinking contaminated well water. Everyone has been admitted to a different private hospital. The news of the death of four people and the illness of dozens of villagers in the village was conveyed to the SDM and health department officials. A health department team reached the village from the CHC. An investigation was started by spraying the well with bleach immediately.
