Violence broke out in Udaipur after a knife attack on a student.
In Rajasthan’s Udaipur city, there is panic among the students after the incident of knife attack. A student has been injured in this incident. There have been fires in many places in the city. During the closure of the markets, incidents of vandalism have taken place in many places. Hindu organizations have reached the hospital with the demand of bulldozing the house of the accused. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the Collector has imposed Section 144.
The incident took place in Surajpol police station area of the city. A fight broke out between students of class 10 of Bhattiani Chauhata Government School here. After this one teenager stabbed another and injured him. After the incident, there was tension in the city. People kept the markets of the city closed. Also, there were demonstrations by burning tires in many places.
Many vehicles were set on fire
Many places were vandalized. Vehicles were set on fire at many places. More than half a dozen vehicles have been set on fire. Thousands of people came to MB Hospital. There was also a huge uproar. MP Mannalal Rawat, City MLA Tarachand Jain, Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena, District Collector Arvind Poswal, SP Yogesh Goyal reached the hospital on receiving the information.
Following this incident, all markets in Wall City have been closed. District Collector has applied section 144. The police took immediate action and arrested the accused Kishore and his father. He is being interrogated. The victim’s family is adamant that the accused student’s house was bulldozed.
