Want To Open A Startup While Living In A Village? Government Is Creating A Rs 750 Crore Fund For Help

The government will help rural entrepreneurs

Do you live in a village or want to work in the agricultural sector of the country? Now the government has made all the arrangements to help you. The government will now provide support to these startups by providing them with funds. For this, the government has prepared a fund of Rs 750 crore.

To help entrepreneurs working in the country’s agricultural sector, the government has created a fund called ‘AgriSURE’. It will be called ‘Agricultural Fund for Startups and Rural Enterprises’.

This is how we will get funds from the government.

According to an official government release, under this fund the government will invest in villages, agriculture and related industries. The government will provide capital support along with loans, especially to startups working in agriculture and allied sectors. The main objective of this initiative is to promote innovation and stability in India’s agricultural sector through a fund of Rs 750 crore.

There will be less risk in the agricultural sector

This fund will provide both equity and loan support to businesses. This will reduce risk, especially in the agricultural value chain. It will also promote activities that generate high impact. A programme in this regard was recently organised. It was attended by key stakeholders including financial institutions, investors, AIF managers and agri-start-ups.

The government is paying special attention to the development of the agricultural sector in the country. Due to this, a large population of the country still survives in it. To help the farmers financially, the government runs a scheme called PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. For this, they receive a direct financial aid of Rs 6,000 per year.

Not only this, the government gives huge subsidies on fertilizers but also provides electricity and other facilities to farmers at concessional rates. However, there is still a huge need for investment in the sector, especially in infrastructure development.
