Two other friends climbing the wall with him also slipped but did not fall into the deep water. Panic spread among all the people present after the first friend fell. People started shouting as the young man could not swim. The wall was so slippery that no one could climb up to save the young man’s life. By the time people could reach the young man, he had drowned. The boy’s body has been recovered with the help of divers. A live video of the boy’s drowning was captured on the phones of people visiting the dam, which is now going viral on social media.
