A youth in Hapur first befriended a woman with a fake ID by changing his name on Instagram and then raped her. Then he converted on the pretext of marriage. The victim has alleged that after her husband’s death a few years ago, she befriended a boy named Rahul on Instagram. After this the boy started coming to the woman’s house. Both started living together in Mumbai. The victim alleged that the real name of the boy is Waseem.
Husband passed away in 2015
According to information, the woman registered a case at the Babugarh police station and said that her husband had died in 2015. After this he befriended a guy named Rahul on Instagram. Meanwhile, Rahul started coming to her house. On March 8, 2022, Rahul took her to a hotel on the pretext of giving her medicine and mixed the drug in a cold drink. The youth is accused of raping the woman. An obscene video was also made. When the woman regained consciousness, Rahul showed her the video and started blackmailing and abusing her.
ID was created in another name
It is alleged that the accused Rahul has created his ID in the name of Black Commando on Instagram. Due to which friendship was formed between the two. The accused forcibly married the woman after raping and blackmailing her. After the marriage and religious conversion, the accused fled to his home in Hapud. Now that woman also followed him back to Hapur. He has lodged an FIR. Police have arrested the accused and sent him to jail. The real name of the accused is Wasim, when he created an ID named Rahul and befriended the woman.
The minor daughter was the target of the accused
The woman alleged that the accused also tried to convert her minor daughter and forcibly changed her name from Hindu to Muslim and registered her name in her Aadhaar card. After this the woman protested and reached the police station. The woman alleged that the accused along with his friends lured girls through social media by creating fake IDs and pretending to be Hindus and marry them. The woman alleged that the accused also took Rs 30 lakh by showing her obscene video. Now the police have arrested the accused Wasim and are investigating the case.
