We could simply say that college football games being played on Labor Day weekend is normal. College football swinging into action on the Thursday before Labor Day is a normal occurrence as well. At least there are some things we can still count on, even if so many other things feel wildly out of place and distorted. We all get to watch football for the next five months. That’s good. We are going to be paying a lot more attention to the Big Ten than we have in the past, since we want to help you keep tabs on all the other teams in the Big Ten. When we make game picks, our expert panel will dive into Big Ten football predictions only for FBS games. We don’t concern ourselves with FCS cupcake games such as Rutgers versus Howard or Illinois versus Eastern Illinois. We have standards at USC, so on Thursday, Aug. 29, the only Big Ten football game worth picking is Minnesota at home versus North Carolina.
