The Kinnar Kailash Yatra is starting next month

Kinnar Kailash Yatra will be held from August 1 to 26 in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. A meeting regarding the Kinnar Kailash Yatra was organized in Recangpio under the chairmanship of Union Minister Jagat Singh Negi. This time in the meeting it has been decided to start Kinnar Kailash Yatra from two places. Kinnar Kailash Yatra will be started from Tangling route as well as Purvani route. Due to starting from two sides devotees will have ease and ease in doing Kailash Yatra.

This time Kinnar Kailash Yatra is starting late due to bad weather in the state. Forest, police and other personnel have been deployed to facilitate the passengers. Apart from this, medical facilities have also been arranged in case of any kind of problem. Food rates will also be fixed at all the dhabas present on the way during this yatra.

The color of Shivlinga changes frequently

The journey to Kinnar Kailash is very difficult. This Yatra is considered more difficult than the Yatra of Mansarovar and Amarnath. It takes two to three days to complete this journey. This journey was started in 1993. It is believed that the Shivlinga in Kinnar Kailash changes color several times a day.

Kinnar Kailash is in the Himalayan range. Kalka railway station is the nearest to go here. Shimla Airport is located at a distance of about 243 km from Kinnar Kailash.

Travel in the month of Sawan

Kinnar Kailash Yatra is performed every year in the month of Sawan. Devotees come here from far and wide crossing the inaccessible passes of these mountains to have the darshan of Mahadev and Mother Parvati. Thousands of Brahma lotus flowers are seen during this yatra. It is believed that Mahadev is very fond of Brahma lotus flowers. To complete this journey one has to cross Satluj river from Powri and pass Tangling village.
