UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has announced the new date of written exam for the recruitment of Police Constable. The examination will be conducted on 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31 August 2024 at designated centers across the state. The exam was earlier held on August 17 and 18, but was canceled due to paper leak. Let us know when the admit card and exam city slip will be issued.
Around 48 lakh candidates have applied for the UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam. The exam will be conducted in two shifts and 5 lakh candidates will appear in each shift. Candidates will also be provided free travel facility in transport department buses to reach the examination centre. Candidates can avail this facility by showing the admit card.
The recruitment board has issued notification
The recruitment board has issued the notification regarding the exam. All strict arrangements are being made for the examination without cheating. The examination will be conducted under the supervision of CCTV room. The board is issuing a notice that anyone can report any suspicious activity related to constable exam on whatsapp number 9454457951. The identity of the informant will be kept confidential.
When will admit card be released?
Exam city slip will be issued before exam admit card. According to media reports, the admit card can be issued 2 or 3 days before the exam. The city slip is likely to be released before August 20. However, no official date has yet been issued by the recruitment board regarding this.

- Now enter the requested information and submit.
- The admit card will appear on your screen.
- Check and download now.
