Who were the top Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky performers in Week 4 high school football?


Between record-setting nights and thrilling finishes, these high school football players made you look as they took care of business on the gridiron.

Here are the Week 4’s top high school football performers in Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky. Be sure to cast a vote for your favorite using the ballot under each category. The winners will be named Friday in the Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Athlete of the Week story.

Southwest Ohio Division I and II top performers in football, Week 4

Eckley Bridges, Hamilton – In Hamilton’s 7-3 win over Mason, he had eight tackles including a sack and four tackles for loss, and recovered a fumble.

Raishwan Cotton, Mt. Healthy – In the Owls’ 20-16 win over Taft, he forced three fumbles and led the defense with 14 tackles (seven solo). He also had a touchdown run.

Jordan Crider, Edgewood – He caught eight passes for 186 yards and two touchdowns in Edgewood’s 34-14 victory over Talawanda.

Colin Daniels, La Salle – He had two interceptions, including one in the fourth quarter to help the Lancers beat Louisville Central, 7-6, and remain unbeaten at 4-0.

Braydon Johnson, Lakota West – He rushed for 46 yards and four touchdowns in a 50-14 win over Fairfield.

Cole Kimble, Princeton – He kicked the game-winning field goal at the horn to give the Vikings a 17-16 win over Lakota East and remain in first place in the Greater Miami Conference at 3-0.

Carson Lindholm, Kings – He rushed for a career-high 200 yards, scoring three touchdowns, all in the fourth quarter to lead the Knights to a 28-10 win over West Clermont.

Delan Massey-Wright, Winton Woods – In the Warriors’ 31-0 win over Turpin, he led the defense with six tackles including two sacks, three for loss and a forced fumble. He also broke the school record for tackles for loss and now has 36.

Tyler McQueen, Milford – In the Eagles’ 19-12 win over Loveland, the punter averaged 47 yards on three punts, downing two inside the 20 in the defensive win.

Cody Neltner, Little Miami – He had two TD catches for 36 yards, and led the Panthers with six tackles in their 20-14 win over Walnut Hills.

Brayden Reece, Monroe – He rushed for 139 yards and two scores in the Hornets’ 26-20 win over Hughes.

Max Supe, Oak Hills – He was 14-of-18 for 278 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 70 yards as the Highlanders beat Colerain.

Durrell Turner, Anderson – He rushed for 108 yards and four touchdowns in a 41-7 win over Lebanon.

Jordan Vann, Middletown – In the Middies’ 36-0 win over Sycamore, he had four tackles, an interception and a fumble return for a touchdown.

Southwest Ohio Division III-VII top performers in football, Week 4

River Gambrell, Goshen – He rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns in a 26-0 win over Woodward.

Lem Grayson, Badin – He rushed for 154 yards and two touchdowns in a 21-14 win over Bishop Ready in Columbus.

Elijah Guttman, Cincinnati Country Day – In a 50-42 loss to CCPA, he threw 24 completions for 367 yards and five touchdowns, all of which were school records.

James Hall, St. Bernard-Elmwood Place – He had an interception, fumble recovery, five tackles, a sack, and a 95-yard kickoff return for a TD in the Titans’ 37-7 win over Summit Country Day.

Joel Hancock, Wyoming – He had 231 yards and four touchdowns on 21 carries in the Cowboys’ 35-7 victory over Madeira.

Troy Harris, Williamsburg – He rushed for 81 yards and two touchdowns, and caught four passes for 90 yards and two scores in a 48-41 win over Hillsboro.

Silas Jacob, New Richmond – In the Lions’ 35-3 win over Clermont Northeastern, he led the defense with 13 tackles (10 solo) and averaged 12 yards on four punt returns.

Garrett Lundy, Waynesville – In the Spartans’ 56-29 win over Brookville, he scored five touchdowns, rushing for 172 yards and three scores, and catching five passes for 195 yards and two TDs. On defense, he posted five tackles, forced a fumble and averaged 35.5 yards on two punts.

Kenmarion McCray, Cincinnati College Prep – He threw for three touchdowns, including an 80-yard strike to tie the game in the fourth quarter, then directed a game-winning drive as the Lions beat CCD, 50-42, to start 4-0 for the first time in its OHSAA varsity history.

Kaleb Miller, Middletown Madison – He rushed for 162 yards and three touchdowns in the team’s 42-12 win over Meadowdale.

Brayden Mitchum, Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy – He rushed for a school-record 317 yards with three touchdowns in a 27-20 win over Worthington Christian.

Ethan Nipper, Clark Montessori – In the Cougars’ 26-12 win over Norwood, he rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, he had 17 tackles, 10 solo with two for loss, a 44-yard interception return for a TD, a fumble recovery, and averaged 44 yards on two punts.

Landen Schaefer, Reading – He rushed for 230 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-0 win over Finneytown.

Easton Schrimpf, Taylor – He rushed for 39 yards and three touchdowns and recovered a fumble with four tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and a pass deflection in the team’s 47-14 win over Deer Park.

Michael Streety, Wilmington – He had a 49-yard interception in the fourth quarter to clinch the win in a 35-21 win over Ross.

Northern Kentucky, Southwest Indiana top performers in football, Week 4

Kendall Buck-Barber, Newport – He made eight tackles, two for loss, and grabbed his second interception of the season in a win over Boone County.

Tyler Copeland, Lloyd Memorial – He led the Juggernauts with 10 tackles and had two interceptions as Lloyd won its third straight game.

Cash Harney, Covington Catholic – The junior threw for 110 yards and a touchdown and ran for 173 yards and four touchdowns in a win over Dixie Heights.

Wyatt Hatfield, Conner – He completed five passes for 56 yards and ran for 167 yards and four touchdowns in a win over Newport Central Catholic.

Tyler Holtz, Bishop Brossart – The senior threw for 203 yards and five touchdowns in a win over Nicholas County.

Isaiah Johnson, Cooper – He caught six passes for 116 yards and three touchdowns, including a one-handed grab in a win over Campbell County.

Josh Johnson, Scott – He caught two passes for 45 yards and had three tackles and a fumble recovery in a win over Holmes.

Nathan Pabst, Beechwood – He caught five passes for 71 yards and a touchdown, made three tackles and had an interception in a win over Simon Kenton.

Miller Reed, Ludlow – The freshman threw for 152 yards and three touchdowns and returned a punt for a touchdown to lead the Panthers past Dayton.

Jacob Savage, Ryle – He ran for 102 yards and four touchdowns in a win over Highlands. His last score gave the Raiders a walk-off win in overtime.
