There is a political tug-of-war between Shiv Sena (UBT) faction chief Uddhav Thackeray and BJP leader and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Two days ago, Uddhav Thackeray challenged Devendra Fadnavis and said either he stays or we stay. After Uddhav Thackeray’s statement, there was a huge uproar in Maharashtra politics. BJP and NDA leaders attacked him, but on Saturday, Uddhav Thackeray attacked Union Minister Amit Shah and Fadnavis at a rally in Pune.
Along with this, Uddhav Thackeray said that he has not given a challenge to Fadnavis, but to the BJP. Fadnavis does not have such a big status that I can challenge him. He quipped that bed bugs are squashed with the toes.
Uddhav Thackeray’s statement was followed by Shiv Sena (Shinde group) leader Sanjay Nirupam’s statement. He has attacked them by tweeting on social site X.

He said that even a monkey does not move that fast. If someone recites his Mumbai speech, his lies will be exposed. Today it became clear again that he could never be the true heir of Balasaheb.
Lost control of mind: Fadnavis
On the other hand, Devendra Fadnavis responded to Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday. He said that Uddhav Thackeray has lost control of his mind. How can we respond to the fact that they live under extreme stress and the kinds of words they are using because of that stress?
He said that the person talks as if he has lost his mind and does not want to answer, but by giving this speech he has shown that Uddhav Thackeray belongs to the same Aurangzeb fan club that Amit Shah mentioned.
