At a time when assembly elections in Maharashtra are so close, NCP MLA Rajendra Shingane from Ajit Pawar faction said why he went with Ajit Pawar faction when there was a rift between Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar. MLA Rajendra Shingane said that there was a personal reason due to which I had to go with Ajit Dada.
Last year, there was a split in the Rashtriya Congress Party in Maharashtra and the party split into two, a Sharad Pawar faction and an Ajit Pawar faction. At that time some MLAs went with Ajit Pawar and formed the government in alliance with BJP and Shiv Sena of Eknath Shinde group.
The MLA gave the reason
Rajendra Shingane said that when the party split into two, he went with Ajit Pawar’s group, however, he did not give the reason for going with Ajit’s group, which he has now put in front of everyone. The MLA said that when there was a rift in the party, the district cooperative bank he was associated with was sinking, which is why he went with Ajith’s group.
Worked with Sharad Pawar for 30 years
State Deputy CM Ajit Pawar’s MLA Rajendra Shingane shared the dais with Sharad Pawar at an event in Wardha on Saturday. Rajendra Shingane, an MLA from Maharashtra’s Sindkhed Raja area, said that he always had great respect for Sharad Pawar.
Rajendra Shingane said that he worked under Sharad Pawar for 30 years and Sharad Pawar has played a very important role in his political journey. However, recently, due to the problems and helplessness of my district co-operative bank (in Buldhana), I had to accompany Ajit Dada to his party,” said MLA Rajendra Shingane. The MLA said that today the District Cooperative Bank has received Rs 300 crore from the government. He also said that Sharad Pawar Sahib will always be respected by me.
