A prisoner lodged in the National Capital Delhi jail has got 4 months leave from the Saket Court. During these four months the prisoner will live with his wife in London and increase the family. The prisoner’s wife works in an MNC based in London and cannot come to India. In such a situation, the court, while considering the plea of the prisoner, said that no one can be prevented from raising a family. So, the prisoner is allowed to go to London with some conditions.
Ridham Girotra, a resident of Delhi’s Kalkaji, is in jail in a culpable homicide case committed 11 years ago. The hearing of this matter is not over yet. Actually an incident took place in Kalkaji in the year 2013. In which a young man died. According to the police case diary, Anmol used to create ruckus with his friends after taking drugs. At that time he had a scuffle with the guard of the society and the guard also used force.
The prisoner also went abroad in 2019
It is alleged that in the meantime the guard sustained a head injury and died due to this. In this case, the police registered a case of culpable homicide against the guard Ridham. An NDPS case was registered against deceased Anmol’s friends. Ridham has been in jail ever since. However, with the permission of the court, he went to the Philippines to attend the wedding of one of his relatives in 2019, when he applied to the court to move to London with his wife to raise a family, the public prosecutor took a strict stand.

He feared that once he left the country, he would not return for further hearings in the case. However, the prisoner’s lawyer Ravi Daral dismissed the public prosecutor’s apprehensions. Said that the prisoner came out of the jail with the permission of the court in December 2019 and also went abroad. This time there is a very important reason for his release from prison. After hearing both sides, the court also accepted that no one can be stopped from expanding the family.
Wife works in MNC in London
Thus, the court has allowed prisoner Ridham to go abroad on leave till December 28. The prisoner’s counsel told the court that charges have not yet been framed in the incident that took place 11 years ago and the case is taking unnecessary time. Here, the prisoner got married two years ago and his wife works in an MNC in London. As he cannot come to India, the prisoner has to go to London to raise his family. The prisoner has also filed all necessary documents related to this in the court. After this the court has granted the petition of the prisoner by placing some conditions.
