With Manish Sisodia Out Of Jail In Full Action, Leaders And Common Man On The Agenda… What’s The Plan?

Former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia is in action mode after being released from jail. Sisodia is constantly holding meetings with senior and junior AAP leaders. AAP has announced Sisodia march across Delhi. That too when he declared that he does not hold any major position either in the government or in the party. In such a situation, the question arises, what do you want to do with the help of Sisodia?

Assembly elections are proposed in Delhi after 6 months from now. There are a total of 70 assembly seats and a minimum of 36 seats are required to form the government.

Manish Sisodia in action mode

Manish Sisodia is in action mode after he got out of jail on bail on 9th August. After coming out of jail, Manish first went to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s house, where he met all the top AAP leaders, including Sunita Kejriwal.

Manish met the workers at the party office the next day and addressed a meeting. Meanwhile, he spoke to AAP workers on the future strategy.

On Sunday, Manish Sisodia took the meeting of all the big leaders of AAP. Union General Secretary Sandeep Pathak, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj, Minister Atishi, Minister Gopal Rai and all top leaders were present in this meeting.

Sisodia will speak to all MLAs of Delhi on Monday and councilors on Tuesday. According to AAP’s organizing general secretary, from August 14, Sisodia will tour Delhi on foot and meet common people.

What is your plan, 3 points

Assembly elections are scheduled to be held in February 2025 in Delhi. AAP is the ruling party here. Currently, the Chief Minister of Delhi is in jail. In such a situation, Sisodia’s bail is a relief for you. Sisodia is considered the number-2 leader in AAP.

1. Strategy to increase connectivity before elections

In the Lok Sabha elections, the Aam Aadmi Party contested in 4 out of 7 seats in Delhi, but the AAP candidates lost in all four seats. AAP’s margin of defeat in New Delhi and East Delhi seats was less than 1 lakh. According to CSDS, the main reason for AAP’s defeat was that the party did not have the power to break the Modi magic. The slogan given by AAP in the Lok Sabha elections was ‘Jail ka paab vote’, which was considered ineffective by 63 percent of Delhiites.

Whatever the reasons for AAP’s defeat in Delhi so far, it is believed to be the connectivity of the public and the big leaders of AAP. Three big AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh have been implicated in the case since 2022. Sisodia was in jail for 17 months and Sanjay Singh for 6 months. Kejriwal has been behind bars for the past 4 months.

Before 2022, there was a period of Corona, due to which there was no contact between the leaders and the people. In such a situation, Sisodia wants to fill this gap by walking before the elections. Sisodia is considered the number-two leader in the party. His visit is also seen as the beginning of the election campaign.

2. Attempting to send a message – Jail effect work

Manish Sisodia is also active and trying to convey a message to the people of Delhi and opposition parties. While talking to the workers on Saturday, Manish said that I was sent to jail to break down, but I am stronger than before. I will uproot the dictatorial government from India.

AAP is working on a strategy to make an issue of Sisodia’s 17 months spent in jail in the Delhi elections. In a meeting with activists, Sisodia also said that many schools for children would have been built in Delhi if he had not been jailed.

AAP, with the help of Sisodia, is also trying to send a message by jailing its senior leader that the ruling party at the Center does not want to be allowed to work in Delhi. AAP wants to fight this legal battle politically.

3. You want to appeal to the public through empathy.

Empathy is considered most important in politics. On any issue, the votes obtained in the name of sympathy are huge. AAP’s No.1 leader in Delhi is also in jail and No.2 leader Manish Sisodia has been released by the court after 17 months. AAP is also trying to garner sympathy votes with the help of these two.

Manish Sisodia will raise the issue of Arvind Kejriwal being in jail during the padayatra. Also, your workers will go door to door telling people about it.
