A man from Loni in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad had left home in a fit of rage 9 years ago. The family informed the police about this. The police and the family were continuously searching for the youth. But after all his efforts he could not get anything. After examining the video, the police and the family reached the youth. After receiving the information, the police detained him from a biscuit factory in Shahjahanpur district. There is a happy atmosphere in the family after the union of the youth.

9 years ago, Rakesh Kumar, a resident of Sakalpur village of Loni police station, went missing from his home on 13 September 2015. After which the family members of Rakesh Kumar filed a missing complaint at the Loni police station. After lodging a missing complaint, the Loni police made all efforts to trace Rakesh Kumar, but despite continuous efforts, the police did not get any success. Rakesh’s family also tried their best to find Rakesh. All efforts by the police and family members failed and there was no trace of Rakesh. The family stopped searching for Rakesh and sat at home dejected.

As the news of Rakesh Kumar being found after 9 years spread like wildfire, the police also swung into action. Giving information, ACP Surya Bali Maurya said that Rakesh Kumar’s brother Loni came to the police station and the police saw a video on social media platform Facebook. Rakesh’s brother Amit showed the police a Facebook video in which a man was dancing. The police got information that the ID with which the video was uploaded on Facebook was created in the name of Raj Singh. The man dancing in the video looks like his long lost brother.

According to the information received, the police got the contact number from the social media account through surveillance and then got the contact number of Raj Singh. When the police traced the location of the number, it was found to be from Haridwar. Three days later, the location was settled in Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. When the police team from Loni police station in Ghaziabad reached the same place in Shahjahanpur, the police found Rakesh Kumar there. Police also found burn marks on his shoulder, caused by being boiled with hot water when he was 8 years old. After this the police confirmed the identity of Rakesh Kumar from the burn marks. After which the family and police brought him from Shahjahanpur to Ghaziabad.

Left home due to financial constraints and quarrel with wife

When the police team brought Rakesh from Shahjahanpur to his village Sakalpur in Ghaziabad, there was a wave of happiness among the family members. Why not, because a person who went missing 9 years ago is suddenly reunited with his family. When the police interrogated Rakesh Kumar, he told the police that he had left home due to financial constraints and a quarrel with his wife. Shortly after leaving home, he once thought of returning home, but as time passed, he postponed his plans to return.

Rakesh Kumar was working as a laborer in a biscuit factory in Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, hiding his identity.
