Here five miscreants stopped a young man and first beat him mercilessly, then took him to the bushes and urinated on him. Ravi Prajapati, who lives near the Arya Samaj temple in Gorakhpur police station area, works at the Tiffin Centre. After giving the tiffin, he was returning home after collecting the money, when five drunk criminals stopped him on the way and started demanding money. When Ravi Prajapati protested this, the five miscreants surrounded him and started beating him mercilessly with kicks and punches. After beating him, the miscreants dragged him into the bushes, where they urinated on him and also took away Rs 15,000 and a gold chain from his pocket.

After this five miscreants ran away from there. After the incident, the victim Ravi Prajapati directly reached Gorakhpur police station and informed the police about the entire incident. Ravi says he knows the miscreants who attacked him. Leela Bhatra, Lavi Bhatra and three other accomplices beat him, took him to bushes and urinated on him. Ravi said that all five people are notorious miscreants of the area. They kill someone every day, but people don’t file a police complaint because of their fear. CCTV footage of the attack on the victim has also surfaced, in which all the five miscreants are seen attacking Ravi Prajapati.

Additional SP Suryakant Sharma said that based on the complaint of the victim Ravi, the police have registered a case against the victim under sections of assault, molestation and urination. Gorakhpur police have arrested one accused named Lavi Bhatra in this case, while the remaining four accused are absconding. Two teams are formed to find them. Police say that these criminals are notorious criminals of the area. Many cases have been registered against him in the past as well. Everyone’s records are being checked.
